And Agar received the ultimate accolade from commentator Sir Ian Botham who observes at around the 3min mark "This is not the stroke-play of a number eleven; I would like to make that quite clear.". That's high praise indeed from a man who had a pretty decent Ashes record himself. Who will ever forget Botham's heroics at Headingly in 1981?
