It has just been announced that the All Whites' Intercontinental World Cup play-off match later in the year will take place in Wellington on Wednesday 20th November.
We'd prefer a weekend match, but beggars can't be choosers. Wild horses won't keep us from this match, and we will be in the market for tickets as soon as they go on sale.
We are absolutely delighted that Wellington has got the nod over Auckland. The Ring of Fire has become the spiritual home of football in New Zealand, and even on a midweek night, the city will be buzzing.
