Everyone makes mistakes, and to his credit, Andrew Little accepts that he erred when he slagged off Air New Zealand Koru Lounge staff on Tuesday night. His public mea culpa is a good thing.
Accordingly, we've closed off comments on the post we put up yesterday giving him stick. But there's a warning in this to all politicians; the public has a low threshhold for listening to gripes from MP's who are traveling up and down the country on the taxpayer's dime. They know the demands of the job when they sign up to it.
Andrew Little created a rod for his own back on Tuesday night. That he has had both the grace and the common-sense to acknowledge that and make amends is commendable.
