"This is going straight to the pool room"

We've seen the iconic Australian movie The Castle more than once, and indeed even thought about as we fly into Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport last Friday.

But we reckon that if Darryl Kerrigan and his boys got one of these, it'd be going straight to the pool room; Stuff reports:

Ford has come up with an ingenious way to recycle old Mustangs - by turning them into pool tables.
The blue oval brand has shown off the first in a new line of pool tables. This particular model is a 1965 version, which has been pieced together by CarPoolTables.com and is officially licensed by Ford.
Each example of the table is created using an actual vintage model Mustang, according to company founder Tony Utegaard.
''We go and find the actual car, cut it up, shorten it, weld it together, and then we make molds of the parts,'' says Utegaard.
''We've immortalised the original Mustang so that fans can enjoy their favorite car at home or on the road.''
The Ford Mustang pool table is available from Ford's merchandise site, priced at US$9990 (NZ$12,681) plus shipping.
It could be the perfect addition to the pool room or garage, and give aficionados something to keep them occupied until Ford introduces the all-new Mustang coupe in 2016.

And here's the article in question:

We want one! But there's just one small problem; at the moment we don't have a pool room. For a Mustang pool table though, we'd build one!
