Meet the mighty Flynns; the Dom-Post explains:

Two cousins working on a building site have been hailed as heroes after kicking in the door of a burning house and dragging a woman to safety.
Adam Flynn, 25, and Aaron Flynn, 33, rushed into a burning house and rescued its sole occupant after noticing smoke coming through a vent.
The cousins were working on a property a couple of houses up the road, on Thompson St in central Wellington, when Aaron smelled smoke and heard wood crackling.
''I was the only one outside working. I could smell it - it smelled like normal timber burning, but it was more intense.''
When the cousins got to the house with their boss Rob Pavan, they noticed a front curtain twitch and realised there was someone inside.
''We saw the curtain move,'' Adam said. ''We knew that she was in there, we could hear her through the glass. She said she couldn't move, so we went in.
''I walked down the stairs and kicked in the door. I was light-headed within a few seconds. I couldn't see much, but I heard her voice and just reached out my arm and grabbed her.''
Through thick black smoke, Adam pulled the woman into the foyer from her bedroom, where it is understood she had been sleeping. Aaron and Rob then helped to carry the woman up to the street.
The fire is believed to have started in the lounge, at the back of the ground floor of the house. Two couches had caught fire, fire fighters said.
Glass doors between the lounge and the foyer had stopped the fire spreading to the rest of the house, but a couple more minutes and the result could have been different, Brooklyn Station officer Andrew Walker said.
''If it wasn't for those guys, I'm pretty sure we would have had a fatal fire on our hands. They've done a huge job of getting her out because she couldn't move. There were no smoke alarms found in the house, he said. ''She was very, very lucky. I can't emphasise that enough.

We hope that these young men are recognised for their act of bravery. But for their selfless actions, and elderly woman would very likely have perished.

Well done Adam and Aaron Flynn.
